1. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing any Venture Along package or using our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with your purchase.

2. About Us

Venture Along is a brand operated by Ascendro LDA, a company registered in Portugal. Our NIF and registered country are displayed in the footer of venturealong.com. References to "Venture Along," "we," "us," or "our" refer to Ascendro LDA.

3. Our Services

Venture Along offers coaching and consulting services across three packages. The scope, deliverables, and inclusions of each package are described on the relevant page of our website at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to update our packages and pricing at any time; changes will not affect purchases already made.

4. Payments

All prices are listed in USD and are exclusive of any applicable taxes
Payment is due in full at the time of booking
We accept payment via Stripe
Your purchase is confirmed once payment is received and you receive a confirmation email
As a Portuguese company, Ascendro LDA issues invoices in accordance with Portuguese tax law. Your invoice will reflect Ascendro LDA as the contracting entity

5. EU Consumer Right of Withdrawal

If you are an EU-based consumer, you have the right to withdraw from a service contract within 14 days of purchase and receive a full refund, provided the service has not yet commenced. By requesting that we begin work within the 14-day window, you acknowledge that this right may be waived once delivery has started.

U.S.-based clients are subject to our Cancellation & Refund Policy instead.

6. Scheduling & Delivery

Sessions or deliverables will be arranged after purchase confirmation
You are responsible for attending scheduled sessions on time
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate rescheduling with adequate notice (see our Cancellation & Refund Policy)
We are based in Portugal (WET/WEST timezone) and will communicate session times in your local timezone where possible

7. Intellectual Property

All materials, frameworks, methodologies, and content shared during coaching or consulting are the intellectual property of Ascendro LDA, operating as Venture Along. They are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only and may not be resold, redistributed, or reproduced without our prior written permission.

8. Referrals & Affiliate Relationships

Venture Along may recommend third-party professionals, tools, or services as part of our coaching and consulting work. In some cases, we may receive compensation or other benefits when you engage with or purchase from these third parties. We endeavour to identify when a referral relationship exists. We cannot confirm whether any compensation we receive affects the price charged by the third party — we encourage you to ask them directly. Any referral relationship does not influence our genuine belief that the recommended party can add value to your situation. This disclosure is made in accordance with FTC guidelines (for U.S. clients) and applicable EU regulations.

9. Your Responsibilities

You agree to engage in good faith, provide accurate information about your business and situation, and not use our services for any unlawful purpose.

10. Limitation of Liability

Venture Along provides coaching and consulting — not legal, financial, or medical advice. Results depend on your individual effort and circumstances. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant package.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

We do not guarantee specific business outcomes from our services. Testimonials on our website reflect individual client experiences and are not a promise of results.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. We are committed to resolving disputes amicably — please contact us first at legal@venturealong.com and we will do our best to reach a fair resolution. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to the competent courts of Portugal.

Note for U.S. clients: While Portuguese law governs this agreement, we are committed to transparent and fair dealings consistent with U.S. consumer expectations.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The "Effective Date" reflects the latest version. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
